19 August 2026

Aventus Group and its Founder and CEO, Andrejus Trofimovas, have received three distinctions in The European Global Business Awards 2026, adding to a growing list of international recognitions received by the Group this year.

The European recognised Aventus Group and Andrejus Trofimovas in the following categories:

  • CEO of the Year in the Financial Services Industry – Europe – Andrejus Trofimovas
  • Global Impact for Responsible FinTech & Risk Management – Aventus Group
  • Outstanding Leadership in FinTech Expansion & Market Growth – Aventus Group

The European Global Business Awards recognise companies and business leaders for performance, innovation, strategic achievement and impact within their respective industries. According to the publication, nominations are assessed across areas including company performance, product offerings, innovative business solutions, work environment and values, and market strategy.

The latest recognition comes during another period of strong international growth for Aventus Group. The Group continued to increase its lending volumes throughout the first half of this year. By the end of June, the Group's loan portfolio had grown to EUR 468.7 million, representing a 37.2% increase compared to the end of 2025.

Recognition of leadership, responsible growth and international expansion

The three awards reflect different pillars of Aventus Group’s long-term strategy: leadership, responsible financial services and disciplined international expansion.

Under the leadership of Andrejus Trofimovas, Aventus Group has developed from a regional lending business established in 2009 into one of the world’s most geographically diversified digital lending groups. Today, its operations span more than 22 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, supported by nearly 5,000 professionals worldwide.

International diversification continues to be one of the Group’s key competitive strengths. Throughout 2026, Aventus Group has continued to develop existing businesses while evaluating and entering new markets and expanding its product offering. Its growth strategy combines technology-driven financial services with disciplined risk management, operational efficiency and careful assessment of the regulatory and economic environment in each market.

“These awards are a recognition of what our entire international team has built together. Growth is important to us, but sustainable growth requires much more than expanding into new markets. It requires strong teams, technology, responsible risk management and the discipline to build businesses that can create value over the long term. Receiving recognition across leadership, responsible FinTech and international expansion makes these awards particularly meaningful,” says Andrejus Trofimovas, Founder and CEO of Aventus Group.

Strong business performance supports international recognition

The awards also come alongside continued improvement in Aventus Group’s financial position.

In the first half of 2026, Aventus Group companies generated EUR 49.1 million in net profit, while equity increased by 17.7% to EUR 264.2 million.

The results build on a record 2025, when Aventus Group generated EUR 95.67 million in net profit and issued EUR 1.3 billion in new loans.

Since its establishment in 2009, Aventus Group companies have collectively issued more than EUR 7 billion in loans, demonstrating the scale the business has achieved through continued international expansion.

A year of international recognition for Aventus Group

The three European Business Awards add to several major international distinctions already received by Aventus Group and its leadership in 2026.

In April, International Investor Magazine named Andrejus Trofimovas FinTech CEO of the Year – Europe 2026, while Aventus Group received the title of Most Innovative Credit Provider – Europe 2026. The awards highlighted the Group’s technology-driven approach to lending, international development and contribution to expanding access to financial services.

Aventus Group was subsequently recognised by Pan Finance Awards as Best Digital Lending & Credit Solutions Provider – Europe 2026, acknowledging the Group’s innovation, responsible lending practices and international growth.

In July, Aventus Group achieved another major international milestone when CNBC and Statista included the company among the World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026 in the Alternative Finance category. More than 3,500 fintech companies worldwide were evaluated using over 25,000 data points, with 500 companies from more than 50 countries and territories ultimately selected across eight fintech segments.

Together, these recognitions demonstrate the increasing international visibility of Aventus Group and acknowledge different aspects of its development – from leadership and technological innovation to responsible lending, risk management, financial performance and global expansion.

Continuing to build for long-term growth

Despite the growing international recognition, Aventus Group remains focused on the same principles that have supported its development over the past 17 years: responsible growth, geographic diversification, technological innovation and financial discipline.

As the Group continues to strengthen existing businesses, enter new markets and broaden its financial product offering, its long-term objective remains to build a globally diversified financial technology ecosystem capable of creating sustainable value for customers, employees, partners and investors.

“Recognition is encouraging, but it also raises the standard we set for ourselves,” Andrejus Trofimovas adds. “Our ambition is to keep improving, continue building strong businesses in different parts of the world and remain disciplined as we grow.”
